Authors who have no established record in publishing in English are strongly encouraged to seek editing help from professional English editors or native English speakers. It would be unfortunate if a paper will be rejected mainly due to language problems. However, to select high quality papers for publication at the conference, we will have to uphold high standard in the quality of presentation and language.
For those who need some information on how to be more successful in getting your paper accepted in conferences, please refer to the following two articles.
How To Get Your Paper Accepted at OOPSLA: http://www.sigplan.org/oopsla/oopsla96/how91.html

All submissions will be reviewed double blind. Selection for presentation at the conference will be based on originality, contribution to the field, and conference interest. An important criterion in evaluating the submission is the preference for a problem-driven approach, i.e., papers that focus on pure technical issues but are not clearly relevant to solving business problems are less likely to be accepted. Extended abstracts of presentations will be published at the conference website.
The AMIGE'08 proceedings will be published after the conference by including only those papers presented at the conference. Papers not presented at the conference will not be included in the conference proceedings. We will make all papers available to conference attendees by providing an online repository and distribute hardcopies of papers at the conference. The proceedings will be published by IEEE Publishing after the conference and distributed to all conference attendees via the Internet.
AMIGE’08 will also provide an opportunity of virtual presentation at the conference. The goal is to attract prominent researchers outside China who want to contribute to the conference but could not travel to the conference due to time and budget constraints. Specific instructions on how to submit a paper for virtual presentation will be given at the conference website. |
